I agree with Scruton.
The following article in the LA Times has an amusing anecdote involving Rorty and Gadamer.

As for Scruton, I sort of agree with him myself (in that some of what he says is true). However, the difference between me and Scruton is that I understand what Rorty is after and I don't think he succeeds, while Scruton doesn't have a clue.
