Oh dear
I just heard about, and have now confirmed, certain difficulties with the comments feature. Also, since I hope to have some rousing discussions here, with lots of comment from the peanut gallery, a list of recent comments, as some blogs have, seems essential. Unfortunately, Blogger doesn't have that feature. Oh well. Thus, we may have to move to another host. I'll look into it.

See bloggerhacks for how to install a 'recent comments' feature on Blogger - I use them myself.
(Funnily enough, I made an almost identical comment on an almost identical post at another blog earlier today!)

Thanks richard! I'll check it out. Maybe blogspot was just having a bad day - obviously you were able to comment, and I can too. Yesterday when one clicked on "post a comment" one was told that no such blog existed.
